First look: Indie department store Sandersons revamps

Sheffield-based Sandersons Boutique Store has added a number of new fashion brands as part of a wider refurbishment.

Following investment into the independently owned department store, Sandersons created new areas for outerwear brand Barbour, as well as introducing Barbour International and vegan-friendly labels LaBante London and Kipling.

In the handbag department, new brands include Radley, Bessie London, Zohara and Gianni Conti, while shoe stockist Pettits of Mexborough has launched a new ladies’ footwear concession.

The beauty lounge welcomed its first Clarins counter, while an organic skincare area and wellness spa are due to launch in the summer.

Having opened in 2016, Sandersons said it has a “strong ethos” of working with other independent businesses, such as its in-house nail bar and florist.

Store manager Lisa Fox added: “(There have been) lots of changes to the look of the store and the range of products we have available.

“Our team are constantly working to introduce new brands and services to our customers, to offer a completely unique experience when visiting our store.”
