First look: Neil Barrett opens London store

Milan-based designer Neil Barrett has opened his first store in London, at 41 Conduit Street in Mayfair.

The 2150 sq ft store will stock both men’s and women’s ready-to-wear collections, as well as the BlackBarrett fitness line, kidswear, accessories and footwear.

Divided into three areas, the design is inspired by architect Zaha Hadid’s original design of the first Neil Barrett flagship store opened in Milan in 2002.

Walls are lined with mirrors and low furniture connects each area. The dark entrance leads to a metal themed centre space which opens out into a copper-centric third area.

Neil Barrett is currently stocked by 550 retailers worldwide and has 31 mono-brand stores in countries including Italy, Greece, Japan, Korea and China.
