JD Sports CFO to step down

JD Sports has announced that chief financial officer, Brian Small, is retiring after 15 years at the business. 

Small has been with JD Sports since 2003 and will also step down from the board of the company on 31 October. 

Group finance director, Neil Greenhalgh will take over the CFO role with effect from 1 November.

Greenhalgh joined the company in 2004 and according to JD Sports has been “increasingly been fulfilling many aspects of his new role in anticipation of an orderly succession.”
