John Lewis is giving shoppers the opportunity to book out an entire store for private shopping, as part of three new services aimed at creating a more personalised experience for customers.
John Lewis will launch its new private shopping experience at its new store in Cheltenham this week.
Customers can book out the whole store, as a group or individual, and have exclusive access to an expert team of John Lewis Partners. The service carries a minimum spend of £10,000.
The company will also launch its new personal shopping service, “The Shopping List”, in Cheltenham.
Shoppers can book their own personal assistant to accompany them while they shop or a John Lewis member of staff will select items for shoppers.
The store will also offer a new Christmas gifting service complete with a “John Lewis Gift Guru” to assist customers who have booked appointments.
Both the personal shopping and Christmas gifting service will be free of charge with no minimum spend.
The Cheltenham store will also feature John Lewis’s biggest Style Studio to date, and the company’s first men’s personal styling lounge.
Director of customer experience, Peter Cross, said: ”In an age of rapidly changing shopping habits there can be nothing more special than your own personal shopper. We are bringing the intimacy, luxury and magic of personal shopping to the high street.”
The store opens on Thursday, with over 20 different services and experiences available.
