New CEO at Ganni

Ganni has announced Andrea Baldo as its new CEO, as of 22 October.

Baldo will take over from co-owner Nicolaj Reffstrup who has been CEO at the Copenhagen-based contemporary brand since 2009.

Reffstrup will remain on the board under the acting title of founder and will work closely with Baldo on tech-innovation, brand and sustainability.

Baldo was previously CEO of Italian leather goods brand Coccinelle, before which he was general manager at Diesel, leading the launch of both the Diesel Black Gold and Diesel Intimate Apparel divisions.

Reffstrup said: “Baldo has in-depth knowledge of the industry, but also rare hands-on experience from running both high profile esoteric luxury brands like Margiela and Marni and more contemporary concepts.

”I’m looking forward to having more time to work on our sustainability plans, further folding out the brand to the world and of course the tech strategy of the company.”
