Footwear retailer Kurt Geiger has made redundancies across its head office departments, Drapers understands.
It is understood that eight redundancies were made yesterday in the buying and merchandising team, and it is believed that further cuts are being made in other teams.
Kurt Geiger declined to comment.
The retailer took over the management of shoe brand Aldo’s department store and online concession agreements in a five-year deal on 1 September.
Oasis customer director Briony Garbett joined Kurt Geiger in November as global brand and customer experience director, as revealed by Drapers at the time.
In the same month, Gareth Rees-John left Arcadia to join Kurt Geiger as digital director, also exclusively revealed by Drapers. Rees-John was previously multichannel director at Miss Selfridge.
