The retailer opened its first stores in March in Freshney Place Centre in Grimsby and St Johns Centre in Leeds. It has since opened in Promenades Shopping Centre in Bridlington, King Edward Street in Hull, Lord Street in Southport, Hardshaw Centre in St Helens and Albert Square in Widnes.

It will open at Sepulchre Gate in Doncaster on 19 August and at Princess Parade in Bury on 30 August. The King’s Lynn store will open at the end of September.

The company was established online last year by directors Anil and Anand Chima to provide affordable fashion in sizes 12 to 24, priced from £10 to £45.

“We are excited to be opening further Lavitta stores,” said Anand Chima. “Our offering of wardrobe solutions caters for ladies who are looking for affordable, fashionable clothing that’s cut and designed to flatter their figure and give them confidence, whatever they are wearing.

“We launched our ecommerce site in 2015 and we have been opening stores throughout 2016. Each of our stores has an expert team on hand to offer advice on the fit and style of our garments to ensure that our customer receive the best shopping experience possible.”

Its head office is based at the Pennine Business Park in Bradley, Huddersfield.
