Lee Cooper sets sail into new markets

Denim brand Lee Cooper is to branch into Estonia and Lithuania after signing up with a new licensee.

The label has appointed Poldma Trading as its Estonian licensee and will expand into the two new territories with immediate effect. A selection of Lee Cooper’s autumn 13 collection will be rolled out initially, before the full spring 14 collection us offered to stockists in the countries.

The licensing agreement begins with a core focus on men’s and women’s clothing but will later expand into additional branded product collections.

Lee Cooper will be exclusively available through Poldma Trading’s multibrand Dream Denim stores in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania and further retail expansion is expected.

Chief executive Andy Dunkley said: “We are very excited about the future prospects for growth in the Baltic markets and this reflects the increasingly strong position of Lee Cooper across the markets from the Baltics down through Central and Eastern Europe all the way to the Mediterranean markets.”

British label Lee Cooper currently has 40 global partners selling in more than 100 countries.
