Leila unveils Darling label

Independent womenswear boutique Leila, which has three north London stores, is launching an own brand called Darling to wholesale from August.

The 80-piece range will include dresses, skirts, tops, trousers, jackets, coats and basics.

The collection will be based around a sophisticated traveller theme with highlights including a black empire dress with polka dot frills and lace, and a navy sequin shift dress with chiffon sleeves with frill details. Chiffon, silk and wool are the key fabrics.

The collection also includes a partywear line, and will be available to buy from the first week in August.

The new brand will exhibit at womenswear trade show Pure in London from August 3-5.

Creative director Nadia Moraes said that Darling aims to fill a “gap in the market for original and consistent designs” that will compete with high street stores.

Prices will range from £5 to £35. Call 07929 259474 for further information.
