Liberty names new fashion buying director

Liberty has promoted head of collaborations Scott Tepper to fashion buying director, replacing Stephen Ayres, who left earlier this month to join premium etailer Avenue 32.

In his new role Tepper will continue to work alongside the Liberty Art Fabrics team to identify and create future collaboration projects.

Tepper joined Liberty in 2014 from Kurt Geiger, where he was head of luxury for three years. He also previously a buyer for Villa Moda and Bergdorf Goodman in the US.

Liberty’s head of beauty and accessories Gina Ritchie has also been promoted to buying director for beauty, jewellery and accessories.

Ritchie joined Liberty as beauty buyer in 2009 and moved into the head of beauty role in 2012. She was previously beauty buyer for Harrods and assistant beauty buyer at Harvey Nichols.
