Liberty’s head of buying for women’s accessories and jewellery, Alexandra Stylianidis, has left the retailer after five years.
The iconic London store said Stylianidis had left the retailer to “pursue new projects”. The majority of her role will be absorbed into Ruby Chadwick’s remit as buyer for accessories and jewellery.
Speaking to Drapers, Stylianidis said: “After five years of shaking up the accessories assortment at Liberty, I have decided to leave to pursue new projects. Being part of the original team brought in to reinvent the store’s women’s ready-to-wear and accessories offering during the ‘Renaissance of Liberty’, and having successfully curated new retail concepts within accessories, now is the right time for me to make my move and follow new, exciting challenges.”
A statement from Liberty said: “Alexandra was an integral part of the Renaissance of Liberty in 2009 as well as the development and implementation of the Accessories Emporium in 2012.”
It added: “Alexandra is pursuing exciting challenges with multiple projects and guises enabling her to support and identify young talent with a strong commercial and creative future.”
