Cornish lingerie retailer Mish is in final talks to agree a deal to open its first high street store in Wadebridge.
The retailer is currently located in a 450 sq ft shop above a wedding dress store in Bodmin, but plans to relocate at the end of August to a larger high street store at 2 Eddy Stone Court, Wadebridge.
The new store will extend to 1,050 sq ft and is aimed at securing the niche retailer stronger footfall and greater brand awareness.
Mish, which is owned by Michele Poynter, stocks brands including Freya, Fantasie, Panache and Gossard. It is also the exclusive UK stockist for Bandelettes, lace bands to prevent thigh chaffing.
Poynter said: “I’m very exciting to be moving premises, not only will we more than doubling in size, meaning we have more space to process our online orders, we will have a larger shop floor with twice as many changing rooms so we can keep up with the demand for our bra fitting service locally. Moving to Wadebrige should be fantastic, as we will be joining a thriving town, full of independent businesses.”
