Lipsy has cut a number of roles in its wholesale and international merchandising teams at its London head office following a strategic review.

The young fashion brand said the restructure is to meet “the changing needs of the business”.
“Lipsy is a true multichannel business which constantly reviews its operations to ensure that our resourcing is aligned with our long-term strategy,” said a spokeswoman. ”Our proposed restructures will support the growing needs of our international partners.”
Lipsy added eight new international franchise locations in 2015, as well as opening 10 new international wholesale accounts. It plans to enter Egypt this year, as well as continuing to drive overseas expansion with existing franchise partners across the Middle East and South Africa.
The extent of the restructure has not been confirmed.
