The locations of the first 10 Poundland stores to house shop-in-shops for value fashion brand Pep&Co have been revealed.
The brand will open 2,500 sq ft areas in Poundland stores in Hanley, Southampton, Woolwich, Wembley, Kings Heath, Rhyl, Dudley, Slough, Ilkeston and Gillingham. The rollout will start in February.
Another 50 are planned to open later next year. All remaining Poundland stores in the retailer’s 900-strong estate will offer a smaller offer of Pep&Co products, mainly womenswear and kidswear.
Pep&Co managing director Adrian Mountford said: “What will be great for customers is they’ll get the convenience of all of their Poundland favourites alongside clothing.”
Pep&Co began trialling select products in some Poundland stores in November. Both Pep&Co and Poundland are backed by South African retail billionaire Christo Wiese.
