London Fashion Week unveils provisional schedule

Vivienne Westwood is confirmed as one of this season's big draw designers at London Fashion Week in February but Jonathan Saunders has defected to show in New York this season.

The provisional LFW schedule has confirmed that Westwood will showcase her Red Label collection during LFW on February 14. Westwood's show is likely to prove one of the most popular catwalks during LFW which runs from February 10-15.

Meanwhile Jonathan Saunders will leave LFW for the first time this year to show at New York Fashion Week.

Although not yet listed on the provisional schedule, Ashley Isham is expected to confirm he will show in London this season.

Newcomers to LFW include Jean Pierre Braganaza, Meadham Kirchhoff, Krystof Strozyna and Aminaka Wilmont, the winner of last year's Fashion Fringe competition.

Jaeger London, Jaeger's premium range, will also make its LFW debut in February.

LFW stalwart Julien Macdonald will close the event on February 15, while Luella is back for a second consecutive season showing on the morning of February 14.

The Exhibition at LFW takes place February 10-13 at the Natural History Museum, Cromwell Road, London.

On/Off is expected to release its LFW catwalk schedule by the end of the week. Details of the schedule will be published here on Drapers Online as soon as they are available.
