LondonEdge shakes up layout

Streetwear tradeshow LondonEdge is to axe its LondonCentral area next season and will instead have two distinct sections to help distinguish the different types of brands at the show.

LondonEdge will now consist of sections dubbed Original and Fashion, losing its separate LondonCentral section, which previously housed more commerical vintage looks.

The show organisers said: “Although LondonCentral has been a key part of the show for the last 11 years, this section of the trade show was often referred to as LondonEdge and clarity between the different areas became vague.”

LondonEdge Original will house 150 punk, rock and roll styles whereas LondonEdge Fashion will showcase 125 young fashion brands, which focus on vintage, retro and kitsch looks.

The tradeshow will take place at London Olympic from September 2 to 4.

Alongside this, skate show The Ledge will launch a designated streetwear section. More than 50 streetwear brands are expected to show at Ledge Streetwear, with The Ledge housing 100 action sport, skate & lifestyle brands.
