Longchamp hires UK general manager

Luxury accessories group Longchamp has appointed Paul Lorraine as general manager of its UK business.

Lorraine joined last week from Basler, where he was managing director of its UK arm. Prior to this he was managing director of Wolford UK.

He will be responsible for all Longchamp’s UK wholesale and retail activities.

He joins the Longchamp team as the House opens its London flagship store on Regent Street, its largest in Europe, on September 14.

Stephane Beraud, international director, said:“Paul brings a very strong expertise in retail and wholesale, coupled with extensive managerial experience.

“His in-depth knowledge of UK department stores, as well as the UK luxury goods market overall will help us as we accelerate our brand’s presence and perception in this key European and global market.”
