Louis Vuitton names new menswear designer

Louis Vuitton has appointed Virgil Abloh, founder of street wear label Off-White and creative director for singer Kanye West, as its new menswear designer.

Abloh replaces Kim Jones, who has since joined Dior Homme as artistic director. His first show for Louis Vuitton will take place in June during Men’s Fashion Week in Paris.

Abloh said: ”I find the heritage and creative integrity of the house are key inspirations and will look to reference them both while drawing parallels to modern times.”
