Louis Vuitton signs for Heathrow Terminal 5 store

Louis Vuitton will open its first European airport store at London Heathrow’s Terminal 5 this December.

The French luxury house will open a 2,152 sq ft store at the airport terminal which will be only its second airport store worldwide. The first, at Incheon International Airport in Seoul, South Korea, opened in September 2011.

The store will sell leather goods, women’s ready-to-wear clothes and shoes, jewellery, sunglasses, accessories, and watches.

Louis Vuitton said the store’s theme would focus on “the brand’s passion for travel - notably through iconic trunks and luggage.”

The fashion company will join fellow designer brands Dior, Gucci and Prada, who already have stores at the terminal.

Harper Dennis Hobbs advised Louis Vuitton on the deal.
