London fashion distribution agency Love Brands has expanded its offering to include menswear.
The business is adding three as yet undisclosed menswear brands to its portfolio. It will invest in more showroom space and recruitment as part of the project.
The agency will also partner with buying group Associated Independent Stores.
Love Brands co-owner Michael Shalders said: “All the market indicators show that menswear sector growth will outperform womenswear in the next five years. A lot of our business is opportunity-driven and, in this respect, menswear presents us with an exciting vehicle with which to extend our offering to our customers and to extend our reach.
“The climate right now is a mixed bag and anyone who denies that fashion trading is difficult would be lying. On the other hand, we’ve uncovered some fantastic opportunities and have some exciting projects planned for the next few years.”
Love Brands represents womenswear labels including Danish brand NÜ Denmark, UK footwear label Terry de Havilland, fitness brand Elle Sport and Dutch label Bulaggi.
