Luke store to open in Manchester

Young fashion agency Red Alert is to open its first franchise store for young fashion brand Luke in Manchester next month.

The 1400 sq ft store will open in the city’s Arndale Centre on November 4 and offer menswear, footwear and accessories. The store has been designed by retail design agency Me, Him & Her.

Store manager Jamie Meakin said: “The anticipation for the new shop at the Arndale has been immense. We’re really excited to open our doors in a city known for its amazing style and where fashion and music go hand in hand so well, something the Luke brand identifies with hugely.”

Red Alert is the Northern agent for the Luke brand. Other brands in the Red Alert stable include Scotch & Soda, Supertrash and Ugg Australia.

Rob Clarke, former co-owner of Bristol menswear indie William Francis, runs two Luke franchise stores in Bristol and Cardiff.
