Lulu Guinness launches new LULU diffusion line in the US

LULU by Lulu Guinness is the first diffusion range from the British accessories designer and will be stocked exclusively within US retail giant JC Penney.

The line of fashion handbags, accessories and gifts will be sold in dedicated boutiques within selected department stores across the US in Spring 2013, as well as being available on the JC Penny website. The brand has no plans to extend the LULU line to the UK and European markets at present.

Mr. Martin Mason, CEO of Lulu Guinness commented: “It is incredibly exciting to be launching our new accessible collection with JC Penney and to be pioneering a whole new concept and store experience for our customers. Lulu is one of the British fashion Industry’s most talented designers and with her particular take on life and style, our brand has grown holding a unique position as one of the world’s most covetable and distinctive accessories brands.”

Launched in London in 1989, Lulu Guinness has become synonymous with retro glamour and modern design. Drawing on her love of art and culture, Lulu Guinness continues to bring fun and mischief to fashion through her iconic creations. Awarded an OBE in 2006, Lulu currently has shops in London, New York and Tokyo. Her unique designs are also sold in department and specialty stores worldwide, including Harrods, Selfridges and Fortnum and Mason in the UK.
