Luxury Italian brand Brunello Cucinelli set to float

Luxury cashmere and tailoring company Brunello Cucinelli is preparing to float on the Milan stock exchange.

According to the Sunday Times the brand is preparing to go public in May with sources valuing the business at up to E500m (£420m).

Brunello Cucinelli posted a E30m (£25m) profit last year with revenues of 242m (£203m).

The brand would be the latest in a number of luxury brands to float with companies including Michael Kors, Prada and Salvatore Ferragamo previously going public.
