LVMH leads Lyst funding round

French luxury group LVMH is leading a major funding round for fashion search engine Lyst.

LVMH, which owns brands including Christian Dior, Louis Vuitton and Fendi, is the main investor in a Lyst capital raising round which could bring in up to £100m, according to Sky News.

Lyst, which was founded in 2010 by former venture capitalist Chris Morton, is an online fashion aggregator and has around 70 million users annually.

The platform previously received investment from LVMH’s controlling shareholder Groupe Arnault in 2015, when the luxury group joined other investors in raising £26m.
