Macandi Showrooms to merge with Fourmarketing

London-based brand agency Macandi Showrooms has merged into sales and distribution firm Fourmarketing.

Macandi’s labels Humanoid, Pomandere and Spektre Sunglasses and its own brand Folk are now available within the Fourmarketing portfolio.

Macandi co-founders Maggie Smart and her brother Cathal McAteer, who established the agency in 1999, said the move will allow them to focus on developing more exciting product and developing its retail business under the Folk banner.

“We have known Fourmarketing for many years and have seen them grow into the UK’s largest distributor of premium brands and we are excited to have the opportunity to move our brands into their capable hands to develop them onto the next level of growth,” said Smart.

Macandi’s Karlijn Bijvoet is moving to the Fourmarketing team to manage Humanoid and Pomandere, while Chris Stoker is moving over to develop Folk.

Autumn 16 appointments will take place at Fourmarketing’s showrooms at 20 Garrett Street in Clerkenwell, London.
