Mamas & Papas appoints Chris Yates as chief executive

Mamas & Papas has appointed former Kiddicare boss Chris Yates as chief executive, replacing interim boss Derek Lovelock.

Yates was the chief executive of Kiddicare from July 2014 to November 2014, and was previously chief executive of fashion and accessories retailer Lovisa in Australia from April 2013 to March 2014.

He has also held senior roles at Jessops, Phones 4U, Esporta and Sainsbury’s.

Retail veteran Lovelock stepped down as chairman of Karen Millen and Aurora Fashions, which owns Coast, Oasis and Warehouse, in May, having taken up the role in 2009.
