Paul Mullen, former managing director of Xile, has taken on a wider role as business development manager of the Tessuti Group.

Xile’s buyer David Weeks has retained his role, but will now report into Tessuti’s buying director Mike Ashcroft.

As revealed by Drapers last week, Xile, which has three stores in Edinburgh, Glasgow and Livingston, appointed Maureen Leslie and Antonia McIntyre of insolvency practitioners MLM Solutions in Glasgow as joint administrators on March 31. The firm was subsequently bought by Tessuti for an undisclosed sum.
