Manchester-based young fashion etailer Brand Attic has closed, following a strategic review.
The etailer was owned by supplier LF Europe, part of Li & Fung, and launched in 2015. It targeted 25-to-34-year-olds with a mix of third-party brands such as Fashion Union, Wal G, Neon Rose and AX Paris.
Last year the company launched an eponymous own brand and a TV advertising campaign.
A spokeswoman for Brand Attic told Drapers: “The market for fashion ecommerce brands is highly competitive, even more so than traditional retail models. Generating sufficient traction is imperative for the business and brand to succeed.
“As with all our business endeavours, we always try to work in a way that is nimble and flexible, as that allows us to make decisions quickly and keep pace with a constantly evolving retail landscape.”
The company said it will process returns until 28 September, but returns received after this date would not be refunded or returned.
