Manchester Fashion Network to hold counterfeiting seminar

Manchester Fashion Network will host a seminar and networking evening around counterfeiting on March 12.

The event, called Counterfeit Culture, will feature a guest panel of experts who will talk about preventative measures that can be taken and the legal implications around counterfeiting as well as discussing which sectors are most susceptible to counterfeiting.

Speakers include Robert Lye, associate for intellectual property, commerce and technology, at Hallliwells law firm; Steve Baker, brand protection specialist at IPMS; and Glyn Roberts from Brand Protection Services which advises Americana and JD Sports Fashion.

The discussion will be chaired by Graham Allen, the commercial director at Henri Lloyd.

The Counterfeit Culture event takes place at The Circle Club, Barton Arcade in Manchester at 6.30pm on March 12.
