Mango appoints new chief financial officer

Spanish retailer Mango has appointed Toni Ruiz as its new chief financial officer, starting in mid-February.

The appointment comes as part of a restructure in which general manager Enric Casi will no longer have any executive duties, but will remain on the board alongside executive vice-chairmen Jonathan Andic and Daniel López, chairman Isak Andic and board member Carlos Costa.

According to Spanish media reports, Casi’s executive duties will be divided between Costa and Ruiz, with the former looking after logistics, IT and human resources, and the latter finances.

Ruiz joins from French DIY and gardening retailer Leroy Merlin, part of the Adeo Group, where he has worked since 1999, most recently as chief financial officer.
