Manolo Blahnik London Fashion Week images revealed

Illustrations from footwear designer Manolo Blahnik have been unveiled by the British Fashion Council (BRC) as the creative imagery for next season’s London Fashion Week.

Blahnik has created exclusive imagery for the campaign and on site marketing material for LFW, which will take place next February. The imagery will be used across all print, marketing, digital and social media platforms for LFW autumn 13.

BFC chief executive Caroline Rush said: “Manolo’s sketches are world famous and it will be both great fun and inspirational to see these displayed across London Fashion Week in February 2013.“

The illustrations are inspired by Blahnik’s personal career and include key industry figures who have had an influence on his life and career.

Blahnik said: “English women and their style inspire me tremendously. This series of drawings represents some of the figures I adore and who have influenced my life and work. I like extreme girls and the combination of the poise, the grandeur and the beauty of English women.”

The provisional schedule for LFW was revealed today.
