Marc Cain has appointed Hugo Boss’s Katja Konradi as managing director of design and brand.
Konradi, formerly senior head of design at Boss womenswear casual, will pick up the design responsibilities previously handled by long-standing managing director and creative director Karin Veit who left in July after 43 years. Konradi, who will sit on the management board, will also be responsible for marketing, vsual merchandising and interior design.
The womenswear brand has also promoted in-house designer Nadine Frichot to head of design.

With her years of experience in various areas from design to product management, she has a deep knowledge of the fashion industry and is a true professional in her area of expertise.
