Marc Cain is to open its fourth UK store later this year after posting a 20% growth in sales.
The German womenswear brand’s UK sales outpaced the total sales growth, with group revenues climbing 13% to €253m (£211m).
Head of distribution Thomas Herter said the rise in UK revenues was helped by the continued success of its London showroom, which launched three years ago.
The brand currently operates three franchise stores in the UK and Ireland and will open a fourth in July in Beaconsfield in Buckinghamshire.
Marc Cain also has 105 stockists, which Herter said he would like to increase sales in.
“We would prefer to grow within the customers [we are in already], so it would be good to increase the orders and get more product in the stores. This is more the target than opening accounts everywhere,” he said.
