Marchpole signs Ungaro deal for Korea

Marchpole has signed an exclusive licence and distribution deal for Emanuel Ungaro in South Korea.

The deal, worth €5.2 million (£4.1m), was signed with Korean distributor Hanamel Group and is for an initial period of five years.

Marchpole has also signed an extension to three sub-licences through its French subsidiary JC Castlebajac. This deal is with denim brand Lee Cooper to supply denimwear to its outlets.

In the past 12 months Marchpole has also opened stores under its Jean Charles de Castelbajac brand and Emanuel Ungaro label and extended distribution into new markets including Russia, the Middle East and the Far East.
