Marina Rinaldi to open Albemarle Street store

Plus-size premium womenswear brand Marina Rinaldi is to open a new store at 5 Albemarle Street in London next month.

The label, part of Italian brand house Max Mara, is closing its exisiting flagship at 39 Old Bond Street at the end of June. The brand also wholesales to UK retailers including House of Fraser and independents.

The new store officially opens on July 4. The site, a three-storey townhouse, is understood to have already been under ownsership by the Max Mara Group. There will be 430sqm of selling space split over the three floors: ground, first and second. There will also be 212sqm of service/storage area.

Albemarle Street last month welcomed luxury British luggage label Globe-Trotter its roster of premium fashion labels occupying the street. Paul Smith also opened a new store extension on the street in October 2013.
