Batista, co-founder of menswear trade show Jacket Required and owner of agency Brand Progression, opened the store with Philippou in March 2013.

He also has another store called Content & Co, which he opened with denim brand Edwin as a multi-brand collaboration store on Exmouth Market, London, in September 2014. Content & Co is not thought to be affected by the deal.

“I sold my half of my shares in Content to my partner and friend Pan Phillipou to enable me to focus on other interests,” Batista told Drapers. “The business is in a great place both financially and profile wise and I wish them the very best.”
