Marks & Spencer has opened a pop-up shop dedicated to back-to-school product in Manchester Trafford Centre.
The retailer’s first standalone store for schoolwear will trade until September 7, offering the full range for boys and girls aged from three to 16.
A spokeswoman from M&S said the pop-up was a “specific opportunity” to the Trafford Centre and was not part of a wider roll-out.
“It is a busy time for schoolwear and we wanted to dedicate more space to this area. We’re always on the lookout for opportunities to enhance the shopping experience for customers, but there are no further plans to roll out this model,” she added.
The shop, which is located close to the main M&S store in the centre, was previously used as a Christmas shop by M&S.
