McQueen targeted by London thieves

Alexander McQueen's head office in East London was robbed over the Christmas break according to reports.

McQueen, who is feared to be the latest victim of a gang of fashion thieves targeting shops and fashion offices in the capital, is understood to have had some handbag samples from his autumn 08 collection as well as losing computers from the office. However the computers are not thought to have contained creative material.

Christopher Kane had his spring 08 collection stolen from his studio ahead of last September's London Fashion Week and FrostFrench, Marc Jacobs, Anya Hindmarch and Luella were among the designers whose London stores were targeted by thieves last year.
