Me+Em named Sunday Times ‘one to watch’

Contemporary womenswear label Me+Em has been named as one of The Sunday Times’ 10 rising stars in its annual Fast Track 100 league Table.

It was the only fashion business listed in the ’ones to watch’ category.

Earlier this year Me+Em received backing from a group of investors including the founder of Carphone Warehouse to continue its expansion plans.

Sir Charles Dunstone, chairman and co-founder of Carphone Warehouse, and two venture capital firms, Pembroke Venture Capital Trust and Venrex Fund have provided investment to step up the label’s mail order, online and retail business.

Clare Hornby, a former advertising executive, founded the label in 2009 and is now creative director and founder. The business sends out 250,000 catalogues each month and trades online, as well as from its store in Connaught Street in London.
