The London Fashion Network is hosting a “meet the buyers” seminar this Thursday in Kentish Town.
A panel of buyers including Sally Heath, head buyer at All Saints and Katie Canvin, co-owner of Chelsea independent Austique, will take part in the discussion, which will centre around how to work a trade show and helpful hints on managing the supply chain, production and finance for other buyers.
The panel will also provide tips for suppliers and brands who want help targeting and selling to buyers. This will include discussions on how best to approach and sell your label to buyers and how to present your ranges to buyers.
Kathryn Horsfall of Kathryn Horsfall Consultancy and the former womenswear director of House of Fraser will also join the panel. Horsfall currently consults with designers on range planning and making their collections more commercial.
Juan Munoz, partner in jewellery label LeJu, will also sit on the panel.
The discussion will be chaired by Vicky Day, director of Pure Sauce.
The London Fashion Network “Meet The Buyers” event takes place on Thursday February 26 at the Prince of Wales pub on Prince of Wales Road in Kentish Town, London. Tickets cost £10 and are available from http://www.manchesterfashion.com/event/51/meet-the-buyers/.
