Melissa launches London pop up

Brazilian footwear brand Melissa is opening its first pop-up store in London’s Covent Garden this weekend.

The temporary shop will open its doors on Friday July 13, with an event hosted by British artist Julie Verhoeven, who alongside Kleber Matheus has created Melissa-inspired installations purposely for the launch.

The brand, which specialises in mold-injected plastic shoes, was founded more than 30 years ago and has collaborated with a number of big name designers including Vivienne Westwood, Jean-Paul Gaultier and Jason Wu.
