Men's Fashion Forward winners announced

Christopher Raeburn and Sibling are among the menswear brands to have been given Fashion Forward sponsorship to show at London Collections: Men next month.

The winning designers, which also include former winner Lou Dalton, will receive business support provided by the British Fashion Council (BFC) and a cash prize to help them show their spring 14 collections.

BFC chief executive Caroline Rush said: “It’s incredibly exciting to see such a talented trio of designers given the support and exposure their work deserves and with all eyes on London this June, there’s no better showcasing platform for their level of business.”

The Fashion Forward programme, which is sponsored by Ebay Fashion and supported by the Mayor of London, launched menswear-only sponsorship in May last year to recognize London’s blossoming menswear industry.

Melanie Smallwood, head of Ebay Fashion, said: “It’s an exciting time for menswear. The Fashion Forward initiative aims to provide the stepping stone making creative talent commercially viable. I look forward to seeing how the recipients of LC:M’s Fashion Forward businesses grow and develop as a result of this support.”
