Menswear clash to end after this summer as BFC reveals LCM dates

The British Fashion Council has announced its dates for London Collections: Men, which will not clash with the continental shows from the start of next year.

This summer LCM will run from June 15-17, meaning there will be one overlap day with Pitti Uomo. This will be the last time the shows clash.

In 2015, LCM will run from January 10-12 after agreeing with Pitti Uomo and trade body Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana “that the show calendar should endeavour to avoid an overlap”, the BFC said.

Pitti Uomo will run from January 13-16; Milano Moda Uomo, which includes the Milan catwalks, will be held from January 17-20; and Paris Men’s Fashion Week will take place on January 21-25.

In the summer, LCM will run from June 13-15.

For 2016, the London show will take place on January 9-11. The continental show dates are January 12-15 for Pitti, January 16-19 for Milan and January 20-24 in Paris. In 2017, the agreed schedule will be January 10-13, January 14-17 and January 18-22 respectively.

LCM’s spring 17 edition will take place on June 11-13.
