Menswear indie Empire opens fourth store in Faversham

Menswear independent Empire has opened its fourth store in Kent, in the town of Faversham.

The business, founded by Chris Staff and his wife in 2013, already has stores in Sittingbourne, the Isle of Sheppey and Maidstone.

The new store stocks brands including Jack & Jones, Weekend Offender, Wrangler, Superdry and Voi Jeans.

“We think the high street is the place to be,” Staff told The Canterbury Times. “Rather than everyone moving out of the high street. I think it’s the wrong thing to do. Men want to come in and get a feel of it, see what it looks like. If you do it right you can do well with it.”
