UK menswear brand Grosvenor Shirts has created a range of football World Cup-themed shirts under a licensing deal with Global Brands, the worldwide licensee of football federation FIFA.
The range of limited edition shirts, boxer shorts, pyjamas and socks takes design influence from the flags of the 32 nations that have qualified for the World Cup in June 2010.
There will be a run of 210 shirts for men and 50 shirts for women in each flag design. The wholesale price is £75, with retail prices at £200.
Each country’s shirt will be made from a white, premium, two-fold royal twill cotton with a design on the placket reflecting the country’s national flag.
Grosvenor Shirts founder and owner Karl Dunkley said: “The shirts are based on a design we have in the collection already and are all made entirely in the UK.”
The designs will be available to order from December 9 for January deliveries and will be at menswear show Pitti Uomo in Florence on January 12-15. For more information, call 020 7930 8427.
