Michael Kors has launched a new social feature that allows the brand’s 3 million Instagram followers to shop products featured in select posts.
Users register an email address and Instagram handle on the Michael Kors landing page, which then connects with Instagram to trigger an email each time a registered user ‘likes’ a shoppable post, indicated by the hashtag #Instakors.
The personalised email displays the liked image alongside direct links to the products featured.
“We really do live in a selfie world,” said Michael Kors. “Everyone is on Instagram.”
