Michael Kors to join Canary Wharf

Michael Kors is launching in the Jubilee Place Shopping Mall in Canary Wharf in early November.

The US label will be joined by Schuh, Tiger of Sweden, Godiva and Asics alongside a number of other retailers previously confirmed.

Already lined up are Banana Republic, COS, independent designer swimwear brand Orlebar Brown, The White Company, Oliver Bonas, Emmett Shirts.

Camille Waxer, chief administrative officer for Canary Wharf Group said: “These highly desirable fashion brands will ensure that the retail mix at Canary Wharf continues to meet the ever changing needs of our customers.”

The move follows the US designer’s store opening in Covent Garden last December.

The Jubilee Place extension totals 44,000 sq ft of retail space and will result in the addition of twenty-five new stores to Canary Wharf’s existing offer of more than 240 shops, bars, restaurants and cafes.
