Michael Whitby-Grubb leaves Penrose after five years

Michael Whitby-Grubb, commercial director of high end men’s accessories brand Penrose, has left the business after five years.

Penrose launched in 2008 and Whitby-Grubb is credited with launching the brand internationally, into stores including Hong Kong-based Lane Crawford.

Penrose founder Mitchell Jacobs said: “Michael was instrumental in launching Penrose with his professionalism, commitment and experience in the luxury menswear industry.  We wish him all the best for the future.”

Whitby-Grubb added: “After five years I felt it that it is time to move on. I leave knowing the brand is in safe hands, with a great future ahead. I now look forward to considering other projects within this wonderful industry.”
