Michelle Mone to receive Tory peerage

Ultimo founder Michelle Mone OBE is to become a member of the House of Lords alongside 45 new peers announced by Downing Street.

She resigned from the board of lingerie brand Ultimo and its parent company MJM International, which she founded in 1996, earlier this month.

She will focus now on a leading a major government review on supporting business start-ups in disadvantaged communities.
