Mike Ashley seeks £38m for Sports Direct’s HQ

Sports Direct founder Mike Ashley hoping to sell the company’s headquarters in London for at least £38m, according to the Evening Standard.

Ashley is understood to have appointed agents Michael Elliott and Savills to find a buyer for the building at 120 New Cavendish Street.

Sports Direct staff will be relocated to smaller offices across London, the paper reports.

The building is also occupied by etailer MySale, which is backed by Ashley and Arcadia’s Sir Philip Green. It is not known what will happen to its staff.
